  • Vaccine Management

Immunizations improved the overall health of infants and children more than any single factor in the 20th century, with the exception of clean water. Vaccines have been, and continue to be, safe and effective in preventing numerous childhood diseases.

Our practice follows the most current schedule for childhood immunizations set by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the Advisory Committee on the Immunization Practice (ACIP) of the CDC, and the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP).

Vaccines are a vital part of keeping children healthy. We do our best to keep parents informed of recommended vaccines and provide important information regarding each vaccine administered. We are happy to discuss any concerns a caretaker may have regarding immunizations. In addition, we offer state-provided immunizations through the "Vaccines for Children" program for our Medicaid patients and those who do not have insurance.

Please note that our Vaccine Express Appointments are not office visits: we offer these quick "vaccine only" visits as a convenient way to administer vaccines such as flu, H1N1, Gardasil, and others. If your child needs medical care or you require a consultation, please schedule a normal appointment to allow sufficient time for an examination or discussion.
  • Weight Management Consultations & Care

Many children and families are affected by issues related to being overweight. In our practice, we attempt to address multiple concerns such as ways to improve eating and activity habits, how to prevent weight problems, the long term consequences of obesity, and the psychological impact of growing up as an overweight child. We partner with the entire family to help children who are struggling establish and maintain healthy weight goals.
  • Well Child Care

Well child care is a core service of our practice. We utilize a multi-disciplinary approach to your well child visit. Our nurses, clinical professionals, and pediatricians work together with parents in caring for your well child. During a well visit we answer your questions about your child's developmental stages and inform parents about key developmental milestones.
