Indira Amato attended UMDNJ New Jersey Medical School then went on to complete her pediatric residency training at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. After completing a chief residency year she remained at Rutgers as a faculty member for 18 years which included 7 years as the pediatric residency program director. Dr. Amato left Rutgers in 2022 to join her husband in his practice. She looks forward to returning to Well Child Visits and outpatient pediatrics.
Dr Amato enjoys watching sports and movies with her husband and children and spending time with family and friends.
